Salisbury Playhouse is the leading producing theatre in the South West and the only producing theatre in Wiltshire. It creates a range of top quality productions for the people of Salisbury, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset that engages with audiences on an intellectual and emotional level, and celebrates the uniqueness of the live event.

The Playhouse’s Participation, Education & Outreach programme benefits more than 12,000 people each year, through a variety of projects that inspire, empower and enable a wider audience. Priority in these projects is given to those who are imaginatively, socially or geographically disadvantaged.
